Script and funding pt.1
Do you plan to produce with a large studio or a smaller, independent production company? Why?
I plan to produce with a smaller independent production company because we do not have much funding. We are not following the same formula as other studio films. With our film we are going to be distinguished by our content and the style we use. We are also in a low budget for the film that's why we can't have a large studio to start off with.
What are you trying to achieve with your story?
What I want to achieve in my story is on creating a feeling of fear. For-example I want my viewers to develop a feeling of terror while watching the film. So we're developing an atmosphere of horror. Most viewers watch horror films just for the scary scene but not the full story and the purpose of the film. So my film is going to contain both scary and entertaining so the audience can be equally scared and finds the film enjoyable.
How will your film be exhibited? Consider theatrical and nontheatrical modes of exhibition.
The film is going to be exhibited by different websites like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and etc. I think it was the easiest to be published in because there's less steps to publish it and there's no need to sign no contract to sign and other things. So that's how my film is going to be exhibited. There's no problem with displaying my film on YouTube because almost anyone can watch it without needing to pay for viewing.
