Rough cut reflection

  • How much continuity does the video have? Are there any places where the continuity can be improved? How?
The video doesn't have much continuity because it's not finished we are 1/2 finished so were adding more continuity and more detail so it matches the script. The continuity in the end will be improved and the middle due it being unfinished and because it's an important part. We will add more details and more parts that are visual and gives attention to the viewers.
  • To what extent is the video readable as a film opening? Can you understand that it's an opening? Why or why not? What can you do to make it more readable?
The video is readable as a film opening because in a few shots in the video it tells the details then transitions to the video.
  • To what extent is the video readable within your chosen genre? Can you tell it's a horror/thriller/comedy/coming-of-age etc.? How can this area be improved?
You can tell it's a horror genre by the structure and the music. Partner with someone who doesn't know anything about your video.
